Sarah Blenner, JD, MPH, is a public health practitioner, educator, and mediator whose work sits at the intersection of law, public health, and Jewish identity.
Blenner’s antisemitism portfolio spans research, education, and policy. She believes antisemitism is a public health issue causing measurable harm to individuals, communities, and institutions. Her work incorporates tools from public health, law, and facilitation to address harm and prevent antisemitism.
Appointed by UCLA’s Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost to the 2024 Taskforce to Combat Antisemitism and Anti-Israeli Bias, Blenner developed policy recommendations. She co-created an antibias and antisemitism curriculum for health professionals, serves as Co-Engagement Chair of Public Health Professionals Against Antisemitism, a national working group aimed at combating antisemitism, and sits on the Rabbinic and Professional Advisory Board for the Center for Jewish Law and Judaic Studies at DePaul University College of Law.
She is currently a Faculty Fellow at the Academic Engagement Network, exploring antisemitism and academic freedom alongside faculty nationwide. Blenner serves as Director of the Applied Practice Experience in Community Health Sciences and Director of pinkLab at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, where she has secured over $3.5million in grants, taught more than 1,100 students, and built partnerships with over 100 community organizations. She maintains an independent consulting and mediation practice focused on conflict resolution, community building, and resilience.
Blenner received her JD from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, MPH from UIC School of Public Health, and BA with High Honors in Jewish Studies from Emory University.
Blenner is a recipient of the 2026 ISGAP Faculty Fellowship Training Program: Combatting Holocaust Distortion and Global Antisemitism.
