Shannon E. Quigley has a Ph.D. in Holocaust Studies/History from the University of Haifa in connection with the Weiss-Livnat International Center for Holocaust Research and Education. Her MA is also in Holocaust Studies from the University of Haifa. Her dissertation assessed religious response to the Holocaust, including the contribution of women to Jewish-Christian dialogue and their critiques of Christian anti-Judaism. Her MA thesis assessed antisemitic propaganda efforts of the Institute for the Study and Eradication of Jewish Influence on German Church Life, a Nazi-era German Protestant Institute. Shannon teaches on the Holocaust, the Churches and the Holocaust, modern Israeli history and post-Holocaust Jewish-Christian dialogue efforts. Her research continues to assess historical Christian antisemitism and anti-Judaism alongside anti-Zionism and anti-Israel sentiment in the post-October 7th era and the historical precedents and ideologies backing varying types of antisemitism today.
