Dr. Charles Asher Small, ISGAP President, spoke on July 13th at the American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council’s (AMMWEC) National Coalition Conference on Antisemitism and Hate in Washington, D.C. In his remarks, Dr. Small stressed that antisemitism is not solely a Jewish concern but a direct threat to democratic societies and the values of freedom, pluralism, and the rule of law. He emphasized that confronting antisemitism requires a broad coalition of people committed to defending democracy against extremist ideologies and foreign influence.

During the conference, Dr. Small also met with Leo Terrell, who serves as the Chair of the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, and briefly discussed the growing challenge of antisemitism and the importance of strengthening cooperation between civil society and government in addressing it. Members of the ISGAP team from Washington, DC, and Brussels were also present at the conference.
