In response to the urgent need to address the global explosion of antisemitism, the ISGAP-University of Miami Winter Institute will focus on mapping, decoding, and developing policy strategies to combat the institutionalization of antisemitism in higher education and broader society. In partnership with the

Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies at the University of Miami, ISGAP will host a Winter Institute to Create an Action Plan to Combat the Institutionalization of Antisemitism in Higher Education from December 16-20, 2024. The Institute is dedicated to assessing these urgent challenges and developing actionable models for combatting this hatred that undermines the core democratic principles on which our society is founded.

 

The Winter Institute will comprise of an interdisciplinary group of scholars, policy experts, student leaders, philanthropists, and community advocates. This unique forum will offer a unique and collaborative space for leaders from diverse sectors of society to engage in deep analysis, exchange best practices, and formulate innovative approaches to address institutionalization of antisemitism. This Institute’s format reflects ISGAP’s commitment to providing a proactive, strategic platform for key decision-makers to drive meaningful, cutting-edge policy insights and innovation in these challenging times. Participants will leave equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to tackle one of the most pressing issues of our time.

Scholars-in-Residence: Applicants should be scholars, policy experts, philanthropists, and community leaders.

Tuition: $1,500 USD

 

Elie Wiesel-Martin Luther King Jr. Scholars: ISGAP also reserves a limited number of spots for exceptional undergraduate and graduate university students who maintain a strong GPA, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to social justice. Wiesel-King Scholars will design student-led initiatives and projects aimed at addressing antisemitism and racism on their campuses.

Tuition: $900 USD
