New reports claim Texas A&M and other universities receive funding from Qatar with questionable contracts that give the country rights to the university’s research. The report suggests that Qatar owns all of the intellectual property from school research at Texas A&M, including nuclear, cybersecurity and robotics. Charles Asher Small, executive director at the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, joins “NewsNation Prime” to discuss the report, saying the relationship with Qatar poses a “very serious security risk.”
