Dr. Aaron T. Walter is a trained political scientist within the field of International Relations. He received his Ph.D. in International Relations from Masaryk University, Brno, Czechia. 
 
His principal subjects of interest are International Relations, Israeli Studies, Security studies, and Political Science. He has been responsible for conducting seminars and lectures, participated at international seminars and conferences in Spain and Germany, Estonia and the U.K as well as Israel and the United States. He has taught in Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, and Bulgaria. In the 2016-2017 academic school year he was Erasmus faculty at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies at University of Tartu, Tartu, Estonia and during the 2017-2018 academic school year he was Erasmus faculty at Mykolas Romeris University in its Institute of Political Sciences. From 2017-2019 he was Project Coordinator for the Jean Monnet Chair in Migration Studies in the Department of Political Science and European Studies at the University of Ss. Cyril & Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia. Dr. Walter holds the privilege of being an ISGAP Fellow and Scholar-in-Residence at St. John’s College, Oxford.  Since 2016 he has been on the Board of the Fulbright Commission in Slovakia. 
Since 2015 he has worked at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia and at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University in Brno where he teaches the courses ‘US Foreign Policy Towards Israel’, ‘Israeli Foreign Policy’, ‘The Politics of Decision Making: American presidents, Israeli prime ministers and crisis’, and ‘National Security and Grand Strategy: Israeli and American Perspectives.’
