Sergio Carmona of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, released a feature on Dr. Charles Asher Small’s presentation at the American Literature Association’s 25th annual Jewish American and Holocaust Literature Symposium in Miami Beach, Florida.

Dr. Charles Asher Small was joined by Margarete Feinstein, a professor in the Jewish studies program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, as a respondent.

Small said he tried to bring awareness to scholars on how the discourse of anti-Semitism is entering into the North American university system where the demonization of Israel and Jewish peoplehood is becoming more common on an intellectual level.

“My purpose for the discussion was to explain, show and demonstrate as a scholar why universities are becoming more and more the hotbeds of anti-Semitism,” he said.
