In 2016 Skylake Synagogue in North Miami Beach, Florida urged the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) to expand its reach beyond the walls of academic institutions and into Jewish congregations throughout the United States. We are pleased to announce the launch of our joint partnership at a kick-off event on February 28th, 2017! Hosted by Skylake Synagogue, this event featured Dr. Charles Asher Small, Executive Director, ISGAP, the ISGAP-Skylake Synagogues Executive Board, Rabbi Ariel Yeshurun, Rabbi of Skylake synagogue, Michael Meir, MD and Sammy Eppel, ISGAP Consultant and Political Advisor, as well as community lay leaders and the South Florida community at large. Skylake Synagogue will serve as headquarters for ISGAP’s US Synagogue outreach program as well as a bridge between ISGAP and Academic institutions in Latin America.
