ISGAP-Oxford Summer Institute 2018 – Day Eight Highlights


Day eight of the 2018 ISGAP-Oxford Summer Institute was opened by Dr. Carlton Long, CEO of Lawrence-Long & Co. Educational Consulting, with a discussion entitled, “How Critical Thinking in the Classroom Can Help us to Better Understand Antisemitism.” The morning ended with Dr. Charles Asher Small, Executive Director of ISGAP, providing an “Introduction to ISGAP.” In the afternoon Dr. Vladimir Khanin, Department of Political Science, Ariel University and Bar-Ilan University, lectured on “The ‘Instrumental Antisemitism’ in the Official Propaganda, Public Opinion and Social Media: The Case of Russia and Ukraine.” Day eight concluded with Dr. Joël Kotek, Free University of Brussels (ULB) and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, on “Radical Antizionism, the last Avatar of Traditional Antisemitism: The case of Belgium.”
